Breaking news - Honeywell to lay off 420 people. This was the story in the headlines in the Phoenix Arizona newspaper, business section. So what else is new? As mentioned in my recent posts, layoffs are climbing at a record rate. Hundreds of thousands of people are being laid off. Just in January 2008, our Fed Government has stated that over 17,000 people lost their jobs, nation wide.

It seems like the norm nowdays to read in the local newspaper across the USA, that more layoffs are reported. In the last quarter of 2007, AOL laid off over 2,000 people, Motorola cut 7,000, and Boeing cut a whopping 48,000! The field of work has been attacked, big time!
