You know, we workaholics have much to do, and we get it done! That’s right, we work hard, we work smart and we get results. What have the the US government (House of Representatives and the Senate) done throughout their working on the world famous “bailout” program??
Nada, nothing, bupkus, zero.
It’s “politics as usual” for our fearless US government. I find out out today that both the Dems and the GOP has filled at least close to a hundred billion on “pork” filler programs to add to the bailout fund. How nice?!* So not all of the proposed money goes to the sole purpose of what the money was intended for. And as we wait for these politicians to decide really what to do, we leave the rest of the world hanging as their financial markets are on the brink of falling because of our government’s impotence.
Thank goodness we have a sense of humor! It is an election year and everybody in government is leaning towards whatever will get them re-elected. We Americans watch this play out again and again during Presidential election years and it gets predictable.
All I can say is, keep your sense of humor. The world will not come to an end. We are still living in the greatest country on the planet, and we will still have most of our quality of life. You can bet on it!

I still feel that we should not panic and work inside our own “bubble” of hope and productivity. What the government messes up is for the people who worry too much. I have been encouraging my friends, family and business associates to hold strong and be hopeful. Disgruntled people can leave the USA if they like, but I bet, they will still find that our country is better than any 3rd world country or other wacky country out there. I ask you, what country would you move to if you chose to leave?
I say to all readers…..hang in there…..I refuse to believe our country will cease to exist. Also, turn off the news media so you can spare yourself of the “doom and gloomers” messages….not good for your mind and stomach!
