It seems like the norm nowdays to read in the local newspaper across the USA, that more layoffs are reported. In the last quarter of 2007, AOL laid off over 2,000 people, Motorola cut 7,000, and Boeing cut a whopping 48,000! The field of work has been attacked, big time!
